Hi - wondering if anyone has installed the Mohawk Revwood Palm City line, specifically the Lighthouse Oak color. Would you be willing to share some photos?

Seeing this in someone elses house is not helpful unless they have exactly your house and lighting. The best is buy a box bring it home lay it out in your space

Planning to order the Palm City Golden Sand Oak shortly, after many months of debating color choice. Doesn’t help your question about Lighthouse but it’s the same line and I can comment on the Palm City line after we receive it. Fingers crossed!

I revisited John Mackenzie of Sunshine since I started this thread and bought a big Gran Nain. I'm replacing the Dwarf Orinoco with it. Bought a 6 foot, 5 year old Jaboticaba from Lychee Tree Nursery. Six months and it's still in the pool area in a 15 gal pot - just merrily shedding away leaves into the pool, much to my wife's delight - yea, right! Treefrog -- remember you were into heirloom tomatoes when I visited the forum last year. John has Brandywine seedlings as well as fruit for sale right now. Also Honeybell oranges and Eureka lemon trees in various sizes. Several other citrus also available. You must check him out - especially the big cloth like bags he grows things in right on top of the ground. The neat thing is, if a hurricane hits you just tip the tree over on its' side and stake down the trunk. No loss and you don't have to dig it up. I got the idea of trying heirlooms from you, TF, and now I have a local source. Best BLT I ever had - ate two fat sandwiches the first time. Dan

What size? I see large ones at many nurseries around. 1 right by my house, Royal Mulch and Landscape, just got five 20 footers. Also sell smaller potted ones but they got severely damaged in the freeze. Another place is Pleasant Acres which is on the east side of Orlando. John Deere Landscape also tends to stock them.

Any Experience with Revwood Nantucket Beige Oak?

So to summarize. In my home the golden age oak looks washed out and gray and in the colder side of things. I decided in the Nantucket beige which looks warmer and I just like it better in my soul 😆. The next issue was the baseshoe situation. I’m not going to have them pull out baseboards and reinstall to avoid the quarter round. So quarter round it is. I personally like it. It gives the baseboard a more finished look imo

We are on the verge of ordering the Palm City Lighthouse Oak, our designer thinks it's a good choice. I haven't been able to find any feedback from others who have installed it but do see it is a top seller on some flooring sites. I love the textured and overall shade but worry about some planks going a little too yellow. Would love opinions if anyone has seen it installed or has a photo.

@Eileen— we got our sample box of palm city golden and oak and love it! Tone looks very different in different lighting. Sharing in case it’s helpful. I think the variation/grain is the same across the palm city line, just different tones/color across the options

@S T W Thank you for sharing the photos! The flooring looks beautiful!! So great you're confident you have a winner. We think we want something slightly darker (we have high ceilings, a lot of natural light, and white cabinets/light counters going in our remodeled kitchen.) The Lighthouse Oak seems about right but my only concern is that it tends a little orange. I am also surprised to see it looks a little busy in the photos on FB. We love the natural feel and non-glossy finish of the Palm City line. Curious, who did you order the sample box from?

That makes sense! We asked the company we’re using to order just one carton for us and they were able to.
