We began a kitchen remodel with a local design/builder in September 2022. We signed an appliance package for all of the appliances in March 2023. We put a 40% deposit down to place the order with a Subzero/Wolff retailer. The new start project date is September 2024. We want to get out of the contract with the design/builder because we are not happy with them. The pricing from our builder is the full retail price on everything. The builder said that the appliances came in and that they are stored in their basement. I don't want the product after it has been stored there for over a year now. I also don't want to work with this firm anymore. I am surprised that they accepted delivery without full payment. I feel like we are being hustled and not being told the truth.
