This planter is fully in the shade all day long and is located in Los Angeles. I'm wondering what I could plant here that would flourish? Originally there were a few philodendron type plants here. They did okay but the leaf parts shrank more and more as their roots took over and now resemble a nest of snakes. Then some ferns invaded. It looks interesesting but kinda creepy and sad. i'm hoping I can make it look interesting in a more jovial and verdant way. Thanks for any suggestions.
