There is a product that my sister uses to remove wax, that you can get from a beauty supply place. She is an aesthetician and recommended it when I made a really dumb move - blowing out a candle with a huge pool of melted was. OK, so you know where the melted wax ended up - ON EVERYTING! I have a painted, white dining room table and that stuff really helped. It didn't ruin the finish either. Also, when my sister moved, her wax machine, full of melted wax, spilled onto everything - walls, floors, papers, furniture; you get the idea. She was able to use that stuff to remove the wax without any problems from everything but the papers. Let me go find the bottle to check the name - OK, it's Sure Clean by GiGi. I've used it for "melted plastic", and it worked for me. Also, I just called my very smart ex-husband to see what he thought. We had tree sap all over my car and he used alcohol to remove it. It didn't ruin the clearcoat finish. He said to tell you to use a hair dryer to warm up the plastic and then use rubbing alcohol to remove it. He said anything like that should work - just don't use any acid based product. I asked the dumb question on whether the alcohol would ruin the finish on your pan. The response - No, that's why they call it stainless steel!! Is he that smart, or me that dumb - OMG!! Anyway, hope you get results from at least one of all of our great suggestions. I did something similar with the drip trays on my Monogram range top. Accidentally turned on the the grill and left it on for probably 24 hours. The heat eventually melted the shipping plastic (which had not yet been removed) and discolored the grill cover (gave it a golden/brassy hue). I had little luck with cream of tartar. More luck with very hot water and a razor blade. I know you don't want to scratch the enamel interior of the oven. Can you call Electrolux for a recommendation. They have been great on the phone whenever I have had issues. My thought is to turn the oven on nice and high and let the plastic get soft. Then very carefully, wearing a silicone oven mitt, see it you can't wipe or scrape (with a plastic scraper) off the now softer plastic. Good luck

Most of the liners are stapled to the frame. Move both sashes to the down position and pry the liner away from the frame a little. This should let you remove the staples. Then repeat the process for the bottom half. You should be able to remove the sashes and jamb liners in one motion. Some of the older systems will actually let you compress the liners and tilt the sash. (worth a try) WEAR SAFETY GLASSES, SOMETIMES THE SPRINGS TAKE OFF LIKE MISSILES!

Sounds like a wire nut. If it was broken up by the disposal there are likely pieces of plastic (at least) still in there. They are likely to eventually be ground up, but it takes some time in a lot of cases. As soon as you hear anything inappropriate in the GD you should shut it off, disconnect power (unplug or turn off the breaker) and try to remove the object. Before grinding bones run the disposal to make sure it is empty, then carefully add the bones. They can make as much noise as grinding up the wrong thing, so make sure nothing is in there before starting on the bones. Some ice can help sped up removing hard items remaining in the GD. Just throw a handful of ice cubes into the running disposal.
