There's nothing wrong with the shape of the house. Contemporary houses were designed for years to sit IN the landscape, and this does. Right now of course, it's popular for a house to dominate the landscape and look as large, complicated and "impressive" as it possibly can. This house takes a backseat to the site, and that's really as it should be.

It looks like the house could use a paint job and the driveway, especially closer to the house, is bleak. And something drought resistant should be planted in that area in front of the house.
