Window / door treatment

Hello. I need advice on what to do here. I would like to put one long rod across the entire wall almost up to the ceiling and hang 5 sheer or linen panels.
As an alternative, I also like the idea of roman blinds on the windows, but I wouldn't know what to do for the sliding door alone. I don't like vertical blinds. Having difficulty finding inspiration pictures with the same layout. I only find long walls of just windows. I would love some suggestions.
I like the panels that are in the photo, and I was thinking those on the ends and then off white for the middle panels. Or else all white. I'm trying to keep that wall neutral.

The primary reason for window treatments would be for privacy at night. Any treatment would be opened during the daytime. This is our family room and we spend a lot of time in there. It is the back of the house, but our neighbors are not far and with the lights on, you would be able to see us walking around, watching tv, etc. The other reason would be to add some color or design to an empty wall. There's no room to hang anything decorative except for using the door and window as a base for design.

Hey There: inside mount (!) pleated or honeycomb shades for the windows are great and very functional. But this doesn't work with your sliding door...so the only option that I see are vertical blinds staged to the right side of the sliding door. On the left side you have an outlet and switch, so this is not an option. You need something sliding on a sliding door, everything else will make it inconvenient to use. Panel blinds to the left will also work...but they will block 1/4 of your door all the time... Good morning Houzz! Just wanted to update on our window and door treatment progress and solicit any feedback from the community here. • We installed woven wood roman shades on the windows flanking our TV. • We installed a linen curtain with a black 1” metal rod / ring combo over the 8’ slider. The black rod was supposed to tie into the black metal art over our fireplace. Our conundrum is the curtain rod is currently positioned 10” from the ceiling. It is at this position due to the 96” curtain length and we went by a 2/3 rule- dividing the space between door frame and ceiling into thirds and positioning it 2/3 of the way up. Is this rod height ok? We positioned at just above the door to simulate going with a 84” curtain length and think that’s too short. Looking for feedback on cure curtain rod height. Thank you!
