I have that exact same plant. Just cut off the top, it will regrow. If you plant it in a larger pot it will start sending more shoots up. They are tough. Will start tipping over if it gets to tall. I have it in a 10"wide pot. Every few years I cut off half of the growth, pull it out of its pot, trim roots, add new soil otherwise it will bust the pot.
