In process of kitchen update, cloe tile will be installed for backsplash, walls will be BM Chantilly Lace.

Contractor recommneded 2 lights that are not more than 12 inches wide and 6 inches high to replace this green 1980s light box....help please! I like the 2 lights in the last inspo photo but they are a little too vintage - prefer CB2, Lulu and Georgia simple, modern, mid-century lights.

Or can I go with just one light?
