Remove wood glue from engineered wood

Just had all living spaces floors replaced with engineered wood. It is fairly light-colored and puppy-prints do show more, so i thought once i *really* mopped all the spots would come up; apparently it is not dirt or dust from construction etc because it remains. I am thinking it is glue. Other than mopping it with mineral spirits (which sounds awful), what can I do? The new floor is glued to cement floor.Thank you.
