I am looking for some ideas on how to decorate this space, any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated! We have been doing some updating in this 1910/1920's house and we can't seem to come up with a good idea to make this space work for what we want it to be. It's roughly 13'x23'. Our plan is to make this space a gathering and a screen free area. We have a basement for TV and all that good stuff. I like the fact that there's a lot of natural light and want to incorporate plants (a lot of them) into the space. In the plan drawing, I had the green lines for windows and the yellow lines for the door openings. The short wall door opening leads into the kitchen/dining area and the opening in the long wall is into a hallway for the w bedrooms and a bathroom, so taking down walls is not an option.
