We are not window treatment people either, but have started to add some as we've reno'd/decorated a few of the rooms in our house; two bathrooms and our office. They really do help to finish off a room. That said, we're not covering our kitchen bow window, or the DR bow window, though I might consider something for the DR window at some point--just for the window panes themselves, not to cover the whole bow-unit. We used Hunter Douglas' Designer Screen Shades in the Roman Shade style (ours are mounted inside the frames becuase of our window style/frame depth). The shades are very clean-lined and range in sheerness. With the sheerer weaves/fabrics, you can see outside with them down and they allow a lot of light in.

There is a large Japanese maple near the window so we don't get a ton of light there. I have the floor lamps, two table lamps and a light on the ceiling that isn't in the picture to make sure the room gets enough light. We actually use this room as a music room. We did a few corner windows for a community in Florida. Here are some pix. We did bottom-up top-down shades as well as roller shades. Though you have no post between the glass panes, the shades will overlap with very little gap.

is privacy an issue? light filtering or darkness? What is the style of this space? Are you done with it or still in progress? woven wood or bamboo blinds for that one wall would look like this you could do the same type on either side of the bed windows. This type of design would look nice in your room. the bed, the rugs, the light (instead of the fan) some nightstands, Or, what about something like this? (imagine your windows where the picture is hanging) I like the wood trim work on the one wall and the color. but you could also do black. love the look of this one too I'd leave the windows above the bed as is, and you could do something like this w/the two on the side similar room design ideas w/some window treatment options. roman blinds: wood shades w/drapes: some nice mini blinds or roller shades another option, do drapes on the side windows w/some pull down shades, (drapes pulled from one side only) and if you have the room, you could do some drapes or blinds across the tiny windows regarding the cats, give them a nice cat tree by one of the windows. these are my goofballs or do some cat shelves. I put this cat tree on the side of my tv, above it we made a sturdy shelf, and on the other side of that, an old dresser door bolted to the wall stud, painted and padded w/carpet. they like it! for the blinds, you could get the bamboo or woven woods w/the blackout liner or try something like these cordless cellular honeycomb shades (these are in my sons room. they're Bali and I got therom blinds.com. lots of selections, great customer service) these are black, regular light filtering. they do make a blackout
