I'm planning to replace my antique double-sized iron bed frame and mattress with a queen sized bed. I'm thinking I will want a headboard but uncertain whether it should have a footboard. What suggestions do you have as to whether the new bed should have a footboard or not. It will be used in a guest room sometimes used by my tall grandsons and others.
