Such a totally cute place now. I'm so happy for you. I actually like the beige rug in the last photo and I think it goes great with the gray rug and the room in general. Keep them both. Perfect sizes/patterns/colors.

You can always bring in colorful throws/pillows and hanging artwork for color. It would be easy against the neutrals as shown.

I also think the beside lamp is perfect with the gray rug.
