Note: Violets Which May Fit More Than One Color Classification When searching by color, keep in mind that any interpretation of color is based on subjective perception. In many cases, the color classification of an African Violet will be representative of most everyone's perception. In other cases, however, an African Violet will not be so easily classified. For instance, an African Violet which has been classified as blue may, for some, appear more purple. Likewise, an African Violet which has been classified as pink may appear more red. As a consequence, you may need to check more than one color to find the Violet you are looking for. Note: Lilac and Burgundy Violets Two specific instances of colors which do not fit neatly into the above classifications are lilac and burgundy. For the purposes of this guide, both lilac and burgundy Violets will be found under "Purple." Note: Bi-Color Violets Which May Appear Entirely White Keep in mind that many bi-color Violets are almost entirely white with just a little of another color. This is often the case with African Violets on which the second color appears only on the edge. Therefore, when searching by color, be sure that the white Violet you are looking for is not, in fact, bi-color.

Bobby, the saleslady told me that the manufacturer keeps the dark slabs separate, rather than stacking them on top of each other, because they tend to show scratches more. This really makes no sense to me, and I don't plan to drag quartz surfaces across each other anyway once this is installed. From the feedback on here and on the kitchen forum, it seems everyone loves their dark quartz. I decided to go with the dark quartz regardless of this concern and my slab of Cambria Fieldstone is on its way to the fabricator as I type! Good to hear of your experience with the CS Raven. It's very close to the Cambria Fieldsone in color.

So I just called Corian and spoke with customer service. They said that everything as far as tone of background and colors of veining have remained the same. The veining was a more directional pattern for awhile but any slab that is made after 2019 will have more of the random veining in it. He said “ the veining issue was corrected”. Not sure if people were calling in and complaining, wanting old, random veining pattern back. Whatever the reason, the more random pattern will be in slabs made after the year 2019!! YAY!!

Do not let your dealer talk you into quartz. My niece just did her kitchen in quartz and she hates it. Stains and have to be careful putting anything above 180 degrees on it. There is no comparison between the two. Had other people tell me they hate their quartz. My brother ruined his.
