Thanks to all. Every time I think when current one are gone, it's over, there is another rebloom scape or two. I find it hard to believe my season started in mid-May and I will have blooms to start out August! I love it! Fiery Temper and Cinco de Mayo (again had put up new scapes yesterday and I'm waiting on the third of Paul Owens seedling scape rebloom to open, Rita, Choral Fantasy did nothing impressive on it's initial bloom. It came into its own on rebloom. I hope yours does too. I sent Bill Maryott a picture of mine and he said it was "different and better" than where he grows it. Someone in MA had a similar experience, and Bill said he thinks it may be because it is "so dry" where he grows his plants. kay

Nat - I got rid of 63 last fall/this spring through sales and giving them away to neighbors and relatives. I will be doing a fall sale on NGA. What doesn't sell, I'll offer as give-aways. What I can't give away will get trashed (but don't tell my dh because he can't stand that idea. lol) Most of these on the move-out list are old ones that I seldom photograph because they just don't excite me anymore. Anything I've photographed and shown here multiple times won't be going anywhere. If you're interested, I'll send you a link to my sale in the NGA Classified section. There are certain ones that must go by the middle of September. I'm clearing the area around my shed to plant new red hybridizing parents that are coming. And several in my corner bed need to go so I can plant seedlings there. The ones in pots must either be planted or eliminated. Debra

Nancy - The wild ageraturm has grown on the shady side of my house for at least 25 years . It came up there on it's own. I've never noticed it reseeding heavily here, but maybe that's because it only gets part shade instead of full sun. I don't have anything else planted on that side of the house, so I don't mind that it keeps spreading. Not much else will bloom there. It gets shade all morning, and then hot afternoon sun for 4-5 hours. I've tried transplating it to other part-shade areas of the garden, but the starts always die. I o really like it's color, and it's usually about 16 inches high here.. Debra

Gardenchloe found it in an old thread from our 2017 swap. It looks like Lizbest brought it. But at that time, it was called "Morning Face". However, I was never able to find that as a listed name for iris. Autumn Tryst fits it in color and the reblooming aspect. So that's probably as close as I will get for now. Doesn't matter too much. It's beautiful nonetheless and such a nice surprise this late in the season. But I guess it took it three years to truly be a "rebloomer". It's really making up for lost time. It has five bloom stalks right now. Although to be fair, in the past, I may have cut back iris foliage in this area earlier. Maybe that caused it not to be able to rebloom.
