We had a catastrophic dishwasher leak and the water went from under dishwasher to under the engineered wood floor into subfloor. We are looking to replace all the flooring in an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room area. I’m terrified to replace the engineered hardwood with more engineered hardwood in the room but nervous that the luxury vinyl plank will decrease house value.
Any advice would be much appreciated. We are looking at Shaw Titan in Heritage Hickory.
