The siding appears to be vinyl. It can be painted with a good 100% acrylic paint, even without a dedicated primer. It is extremely important that the chosen color be no darker than the original plastic. Plastic expands dramatically when heated. Darker colors will raise the temperature when the sun is beating on the siding. It can literally permanently destroy your siding !!!

Pretty colors! Our house is similar to the lighter siding. It's very pretty, but I've noticed on the southwest/street side of the house the color is totally washed out and light pastel-ish. Im kind of wishing I would have gone with a darker color.

Personally, i like the house as is. It's one of the few Tudors that doesn't look like a Tudor wannabe. Here's a before and after picture of a Tudor in my neighborhood that isn't nearly as nice as yours, but I like how they added some shingle kind of siding and did monochromatic colors.
