Modern Interior design for tv wall

last year

My living area is adjusant to the dining area (which I have converted into my son's play room). I want to make the TV accent wall, and the following design requires 4-5 inches bumpout. I think that including construction, the bumpout will be at least 6 inches. Now I am thinking the bumpout will end at the windows and create this uneven wall on the dining area (left side into the windows section). And we can't build any storage below the windows as depth isn't enough. And we can't increase the depth because the room isn't that deep. It's 20 inches in depth, so we get into space we could use for sitting. So, I am looking for advice if this bumpout is a good idea or not? Please advise.
