We recently bought this tired mansard-style home. There are many projects on the horizon, but at the moment we are planning to replace the cedar shingles on the roof. Do we go with a charcoal asphalt shingle (darker) or pewter gray (slightly lighter)? The wood siding will be freshly painted a medium-toned blue-gray similar to the color in the first photo (likely BM Britannia Blue 1623).
