LG front loaders have a feature whereby the owner just closes the door, but don't latch it closed, and it has a magnet that keeps the door ajar so air can circulate. I also have the dispenser drawer pulled out just a bit inbetween uses. I've also seen on YT, I believe, GE washers with the microban gasket and it's all moldy. It's not foolproof like every one assumes. Userr has to do proper tasks and maintenance.
