Below is our current planned kitchen lay out. Its a small kitchen we are renovating that was orignally a galley kitchen.

The island is shifting a few inches to the left to be in line with the base cabinets on the wall.

The kitchen area leads straight into two bedrooms and guest bath.

Am I better off extending the island to the wall and making it a peninsula? This would increase counter space.

OR keep the island so there is better flow to the living room?
