Currently priming our laundry room in our 1940s craftsman/farmhouse. The home exterior is white with a red roof. Throughout the rest of the home it is original dark wood floors and dark walnut trim.

We are looking for a paint color or other ideas that would help turn this plain laundry room into something that fits our vibes (see below). This room also has an exterior door so it serves as our mud room as well. We will also be painting the cabinets.

Considerations:

- We do not want to redo the floors

- We do not want to paint the walls green

- We want to keep the trim white to match the wood window blinds

- Our washer/dryer is on the opposite wall from the window and are both white with a white ikea countertop on top.

I have plans to add a walnut coat rack with dark metal hooks and need to figure out a similar solution for clothes/shoe storage that fits the looks we are going for.
