I did a load of towels earlier and just heard that the washer was still on. I went in and saw that the timer had advanced from the Normal cycle, through the extra rinse and was in the ECO cycle. The extra rinse button is turned to off. I lift the lid and I see the agitator is agitating the towels. No water is in the tub. This is the first issue I have had with the washer after almost 6 years. I am hoping this is an anomaly and not the start of a timer issue. Has anyone else experienced this? I am waiting for the dyer to finish its load so I can put the towels in and do the third load and see what happens. edit: More internet research indicates a water inlet valve problem. Will not fill with water-no matter when I set the timer or what water level or temperature, the machine immediately agitates. Pretty disappointing at less than 6 years old. I am thinking of tackling this repair myself.
