I want to create a feature/accent fireplace wall that is black (SW Tricorn Black?). The foundation walls will be painted SW Creamy in a matte finish with SW Alabaster on trim, doors and moldings. The footprint of fireplace wall bumps into the room is brick with a wood mantle (both are currently painted white in a satin finish). Above the mantle is a wall (plaster) that is currently painted the same as all the other walls in the room. My question is… Should I paint the brick, the mantle and the
wall above the same sheen (satin?, semigloss?) in the Tricorn Black or should the brick and wood mantle be different from the wall above (eventhough the color is the same and it is a feature/accent wall)? Thanks in advance for your help!
