Our new home is riddled with drywall cutouts and plant ledges and it's been a HUGE challenge to figure out how to bring it up to date. Ideally, we'd like to add built-ins to this wall because we need the storage, but would it look crazy with the ledge above it? We COULD run the drywall all the way up to the ceiling and close off the ledge, however, the wall directly in front of it is the exact same so we'd have to do both and I feel like that would optically shrink the room. I'm pretty stumped and would love your input about what to do with these ledges and also how built-in's might look on a wall like this. TIA!
