I am confused! Hoping you can help -

Contractor I want to go with says that he will use “dry wall and backer board.”

Other proposals from different contracts say “new 5/8 cement board and green board” other day that they will “use cement board sheet rock.”

Some say mud set? Other don’t.

I have no idea what these things mean so I don’t know what I should require.

Can you assist?
