So White Carrara CD was quoted at $85 per sqft; White Carrara C was quoted at $150 per sqft.

I prefer the C ($150) given that there is more white and it's less busy, but I don't mind the CD ($85). Going with the CD ($85) means I can afford the backsplash to match. If I go with the C ($150), then I will stick with counters only, and do something like a white subway tile backsplash. My DH feels that they are similar enough, and thinks I'm insane for even considering the latter. Thoughts?
