They are probably 60s Danish Modern, maybe Lane. But, they don't have the refinement in design to be one of the premier makers. Even Lane had sleeker designs than these. If you like them, you could probably refinish them yourself, then have new cushions made. I'm assuming they need new seat webbing, too, so that will jack up the price more. If they were family pieces, it might be worth it, but someone else's family pieces? Not so much.

Nice chairs, I see why you loved them. The back splat has a bit of a 40's vibe with the waterfall but definitely MCM with those legs etc. I would be curious to see if the front legs come up as through posts because I've never seen MCM chairs with that kind of upholstery. From your pics they look like rosewood. I love having various styles mashed up in a house. I have georgian, regency & MCM, they are work.
