Paint color suggestions for walls and island please

We're putting a new kitchen in next month. Cabinets are being built as I type this. Yay! I'm needing to choose paint colors for my walls and a stand alone island. I really hate picking paint colors. Please help me!

We're doing custom cabinets with a dark custom stain and Johnson Hardwood Skyview in Celestial. Appliances will be the 20 year old basic white things we've had forever. They may be upgraded later, but they'll still be very basic white appliances. Trim and doors are white.

Countertops will be a Wilsonart laminate countertop probably in Arenite Cream pending seeing a larger sample because the sample on the website looks nothing like the little chip they provided... we don't like what we see on the website. We'll be doing an attached 4 inch backsplash because that's what I want to see when I walk in the room. It makes me feel at home. We will probably do a painted backsplash and skip the tile because I'm finding I don't care for tile backsplashes, they feel constrictive, so I'd like the wall color to closely coordinate with the countertop.

The room is closed to the rest of the house with the only windows being on the east wall. It's quite bright in the morning, but dimmer after noon.

The island is going to be green but I dislike the green in the inspo pic. I kind of like this color but it feels a bit too gray or something. Also, is it too dark? I might have decision fatigue...

The walls will be some sort of white but I'm terrible at choosing paint colors. Can you please make suggestions for colors that would go nicely with the things we've chosen. Thanks!

Because I want what I want. :) I wanted a lot of symmetry in the cabinetry and we weren't being offered that from the semi-custom or stock cabinet suppliers. We were meeting with a lot of "we can't do that." So I went a route that would make that stop... and I got exactly what I wanted. I also wanted a specific wood that I wasn't finding. And a specific stain that I wasn't finding.

We priced stone and all that jazz. I have the budget for it, but I don't want to spend that much on a countertop for a house I'm going to live in until I die. It's not important to me. From a resale standpoint stone isn't necessary for my neighborhood, I don't need it to impress friends or business associates, and I don't desire to cut or put hot things on my tops... and after I eliminated those reasons for choosing something "better" there was no reason to choose them.

The countertops aren't what you see in the rendering, that was just what the software defaults to. We hadn't chosen anything at that point.

Much like the countertops, the appliances simply aren't high on my priority list. What we have is fine. It makes the home feel lived in. If we hate them afterward (we won't...) we'll change them then.

I appreciate that it's your job to guide people in the right direction... but the right decision for me rarely fits into the mold of what's popular or normal. I'm pretty used to going my own way! I just need opinions on paint colors. :)
