Over the past few weeks I split, moved, or got rid of about 75 daylilies. I decided to do about 5 a day several days a week until they were all done, that way it wouldn't feel like such a big chore! Next step will be in Oct. when the pine needles at my church fall and I mulch everything.

Belle Isle Sentry has a scape with well over 20 buds which puts it into the top budded list. Most won't get to bloom before frost but at least I will see some of them. The only other rebloomer this year was VT Cameo Appearance. I got it from Celeste in the spring and the flowers were small and not so pretty this year, I didn't even take pictures of it.

It is really dry here but not a big deal since it is fall.
