I had Covid last month; I decided to take Paxlovid, hoping it might reduce the chance of Long Covid, plus I’m old. I felt much better after 12 hours. Terrible mouth taste, alleviated by Hot Tamales candy (an hot tip from a friend)! On day 10 I got the rebound. I would still decide to take Paxlovid if I had to do it over. My sister, an epidemiologist, tells me that some think a longer course of Paxlovid might prevent rebound.
