The best way to test paint is to put it on a separate piece of material - foam board or a piece of drywall or buy Samplize (or similar). Painting on top of other colors is not a good way to choose, especially when that’s the color you want to get rid of. You don’t care how they look with the wall color, since it will be replaced. Get something moveable that you can paint and hold it up next to your cabinets and floor and countertop, etc. The agreeable gray is actually pretty different to my eye. The ones you chose are ones I would have suggested to you. Maybe also Classic Gray or Pale Oak. But before you run out and get anything else, test the ones you have the way I suggested.
