I am installing engineered natural colored white oak floors in a post-war NYC apartment. My rooms are on the small side and don‘t get a lot of light. I am looking at planks that are 5 1/8 inches wide but am wondering whether I should go narrower - say 5 inches or 4 3/8 inches. Please let me know your thoughts.
