Hello. So last March I accidentally sprayed my apple tree with roundup. Bone head move because I didn't mark the spray as roundup and believed it was insecticide. Leaves started to grow in the spring but then fell off and the brittle tiny leaves leaves took their place. I figured I killed the Tree. I pruned some in an effort to boost foliage production in June to no avail. Fast forward to this spring. I pruned in March and the Tree sprouted those same spindly leaves and that's it. I was happy it survived but it's a sad looking tree at this point. My question is....Will the tree and roots ever recover or is it lost cause? I have been frequently watering to assist the roots but nothing helps. I am willing to keep the tree if there is some hope for it.
