Not sure about this one. If those brown tipped stalks are actually flower spikes it looks like some kind of woodland sedge. If you scroll down in the link there are some similar looking pictures of Carex plantaginea, Plantain Leaf Sedge, but I have no idea if it's actually that one. There are a lot of sdeges. They are both Carex spp. They would key out in sections Laxiflorae or Careyanae. The first one looks like C. blanda. The second might be C. laxiflora or C. digitalis.

To be honest i dont really know what it is. I assumed it was a wild grasses both of them. Something in the poaceae family. But your right it the taller one could be some kinda iris... so iridaceae... maybe ?? . I actually took two really good samples of these plants and they are now under some indoor lights to force flowering to give you guys some better idea of what it might be!!
