We are building a home and we intended to paint the brick white to match siding. I am not big on painting new brick and actually love the brick. I’m trying to see if this can be an option B if we don’t paint. We already have black windows installed, as well as a mahogany front entry. And the brick and stone as you see here. The plan is James Hardie Arctic white siding, that has been ordered. Can we pull this off, perhaps with a white garage. Darker stain on entry? We planned tongue and groove in the patio area, or paint. And planned to paint the front pillars white. Our builder wants a decision asap as they will be pouring concrete soon and brick guys need to know if they’ve gotta clean the brick. For reference this is queen Waterford brick by glen gery. I personally love the character it brings but also want our house to flow. Our HOA will also be much happier with us not painting, as it took a long to clear through the HOA, and it would have been the only white home in the subdivision.
