I learn lots from a thread like this so please post as well.
I will start:
I admit that I have been a fanboy of lantana for a long time now. This year I am extra impressed with the PW offering "Citrus Blend". The colours are incredibly vibrant. Here it is today (this is one plant) in a pot and it has looked like this for most of the summer.
Colocasia can be hit and miss for me but this year I have enjoyed having "Pharaoh's Mask" in a container. The dark veining is quite distinctive.
Here are two plants that have performed really well in lots of shade.
Browalia is so good in that it is very floriferous in a mostly shade setting and behind it is the (too) vigorous Pegasus/Gryphon Begonia...another superb shade plant.
Two coleus, the only two we have, have done really well.
"Dpt in Wine" and "Golden Dreams":
I don't often use grasses in our containers but I will going forward as "Pennisetum setaceum Rubrum" looked so good.
