We’re renovating our existing primary bedroom to make it a bathroom and laundry room. My bathroom inspiration is a classic 1930s-1940s style with jade and black tile walls and classic black and white hex floors. However, the existing hardwoods in our bedroom are in excellent shape and beautiful, so we’ve decided it would be silly to remove them. (We have no concerns over wood floors in a wet area.)
We still plan to do the shower in black and white tiles and the walls in jade and black. My question is can we install sanitary cove (the rounded baseboard tile) with the hardwoods or do we need to plan on wood baseboards over the tile?
