When one is looking for English Cottage but getting Modern Farm House.

I hired an architect for a full house remodel. Good professional firm, but I can’t get the English Cottage look that I want. The first version was Craftsman. I asked for revision to English Cottage. Got this…. looks like the dreaded Modern Farmhouse. Is it just me? Please help!

    Not sure why the current house pic is a deal at all. What I see here, the proposal from the architect, doesn't scream "English cottage" as is but from my quick google it seems the embellishments/finishes takes it from what you have to English Cottage.
