Our first Cosmos

I don't know why not previously but in any event this season I hand sowed some seeds outdoors back in late May ("Sonata Mix Improved") and I do like them lots.

    I don't like mine very much this year . A variety called 'Dazzler' I think. Very deep pink and an ungainly growth habit. Suspect I will be ripping it out any day soon.
