Does anyone know a seed source for Cirsium flodmanii (Flodman's thistle) or Cirsium pumilum var. hillii (Hill's thistle) that is not out of stock? I am planning on creating a native plant garden in central Minnesota, where these thistles are native and currently found. I have located three sources online for Cirsium flodmanii, two being out of stock, and another being a no-shipping company. Cirsium pumilum var. hillii is very rare across its limited range, but does occur in my county natively. Despite looking, Cirsium pumilum var. hillii currently has no online seed-buying sources. Is anyone growing these native thistle species, know a source for seed, or have seeds for sale? If not, I may be able to source seeds locally in the wild from both species. Thanks!! :)
