These three guiding principles helped sell my forty-year old house in one day. The only "update" were new solid-surface countertops in the kitchen. I didn't even have new appliances. The three kitchen appliances, none of which was stainless-steel, were different colors!

But- the house was immaculate. The oven was so clean, the buyer didn't think I had ever used it. Little did she know how much it had been used in the past forty years. Lots of baking, meat loafs, and turkeys.

The house structure was well maintained and we provided the service records.
