I’m looking for advice/ ideas for conversion of front entrance hall closet into built in hall tree. Trying to make it more efficient and more attractive.
We are doing main floor renovation in 70s house. Opening up a wall between kitchen and living room to create open concept main floor. At the front entrance currently has 7.5 feet long and 2 feet deep coat closet. It’s inefficient for storage as things sort of just get dumped in there. I’m hoping to convert it to more attractive and useful storage. I would love to still have some closed space to hang coats not in use, a place to put mail/keys, and definitely space to put shoes. Ideally also a little bench with hooks above. I didn’t find a lot of good inspiration online, so was hoping experts here have some examples/recommendations. Pics of the current closet
