Hi everyone, I am new to this post but I am so glad I joined.I love gardening and I feel like I am amongst family. I have tried the flavor supreme and I am almost sure I tried the flavor king as well. They were both delicious! Yes they were awesome and very sweet and fruity. I bought them from publix last week. However, does anyone know where I can purchase the multigrafted tree that has 4-in-1 pluots here in Georgia? I know that we can order them from California but are there any nurseries in our area that sells them (or will sell them) this spring? Is there anyway that I can have a tree in my yard by spring of 2012 other than ordering on-line? If not, I will order on-line because the fruit is worth it.I have a cocktail tree already and I want to have a lot of fruit in my yard along with all the other things that I grow. Thanks!

I have a nectarine in a pot that I bought last spring along with a peach and plum. My inconsistent watering and the Texas summer were a bit hard on all 3 trees. The nectarine lost all its leaves by early August and I assumed it was probably a lost cause. Then in early September we had a cold front come through, several nights temps down into the low 60s. Next thing I know the nectarine has little pink buds forming on it. Now 4 weeks later the blossoms seem to be finished and the tree is all leafed out again. Seems totally the wrong time of year but maybe there's nothing to worry about? I'd already given up on the tree a few weeks ago but after all this blooming effort I'll be sad if the tree doesn't survive the winter.

I think the damages on the leave look like the work of worms/caterpillars. Many work during the night. If you go out with a flashlight, you may catch them in action. Hope you compare those bugs with pictures of ladybug's stages. Floral is probably right.

Even doing extensive online searches doesn't bring much up in our areas. A search did bring up Willis, but they don't list root stock and when I emailed them about it, their response was " you can grow anything we can grow". They provided zero info. It seems that They couldn't care less. Vaughn does list root stocks, but I didn't see root stocks listed on Isons, so do you take a leap of faith and order anyway based on their location and good reputation? The loud:. Where did you purchase your fruit trees? The Spring Satin (I would love to grow a plumcot) and Ruby Queen? Also, I don't know much, but I don't think you want the scion and the rootstock to root. The scion is chosen for its desirable fruit and the rootstock for soil, water, drought, disease and insect resistance. The root stock may not produce desirable fruit (that's what I have read) and they compete with each other for nutrients, etc.. Maybe someone with more knowledge can jump in here. If anyone else has nurseries to add, please do! I am still looking for a nursery that offers pluots and plumcots that will grow in the SE.
