Quercus Macrocarpa:

It's been dry but I've done some occasional watering all season hoping to prevent any drought damage to the tree.

Leaves have been a dull, yellowish orange, almost dusty/dirty looking, pretty much this last month.

It could be getting worse now later in the season.

Otherwise, it grew about as much as it has in previous years.

What kind of oak manifestation can this be?

I'm already thinking of calling this my 'Gall tree'.
