My habaneros are always orange, but we have a friend, who is a pepper connoisseur, and he has habanero plants that produced red fruit too. He's the guy with the scotch bonnets.
I only have one plant this year and the fruit is still green. It's a bit crowded by all the basil that is growing in that bed.
A few drops in beans, soups, or stews is my favorite way to eat the pepper sauces.
