Colour ideas for garage door and front door
Comments (0)I’m looking for colour ideas for my garage and front door. I’m thinking of professionally painting my garage door the same BRONZE colour as my front window trim. Is that a good idea or leave it lighter as is? Then what colour do I paint my front door? Black, Teal, Lime green, Yellow, Orange or Cedar Stained Wood? The door will be changed to match my garage door style....See MoreNeed Help with Exterior Paint, Patio Deck and front door color ideas!
Comments (1)I’d probably do a white base deepish brown trim. Nothing too dark. With light blue accents ( front door. Maybe shutters...)...See MoreNeed color ideas for front door, porch, steps, shutters;landscape idea
Comments (9)I pulled up this photo. The brick is a little darker but similar to yours, I thought. I like the idea of a green for your shutters and I wondered about painting both door and trim a dark color, maybe a dark purplish almost black. I think the column could be pulled from your chart, a warmer tone than your current white - maybe Swiss Coffee. Think about whether you'd like that same color for your railing and maybe a dark brown from your brick for the treads and risers. Here's a screenshot of some greens that might work. This link will let you identify all the colors shown, if you want. I love your brick. https://benjaminmoorefrance.com/en/colors/1560...See MoreFront door paint ideas
Comments (5)chelsea---think of this as 'constructive': You need a master plan. The roof is the largest item and will probably be on the house the longest. Next would be the railings followed by the door colour and lanterns. Let's say you want to switch the roof to green--think in terms of green and rust to decide what colour for the rails, lanterns and door. If you want to paint the door now and then change it when the roof is redone---yes, on second thought, a bright light door such as the robins egg blue or turquoise or pale green. My personal taste, note I say 'my', is a wood door doesn't belong on a house where all the other wood components are painted. And I really really like the door you posted but not on your house....See MoreRelated Professionals
