Please help me identify my colleague’s old roses

last modified: 11 months ago

A colleague recently moved to the Montérégie region of Québec. She’s concerned about RRD coming to her neighborhood, and is desperate to get these roses identified before RRD comes to her area. There is a dark pink one and a light pink one. I suspect the lighter pink might be a Banshee, as its foliage is almost identical to that of a family member’s rose that got identified on this forum
(the one in my family is lighter in color).

Details on the dark pink:

Fragrance: She says that the dark pink has an old rose fragrance but the fragrance doesn't waft in the air (you have to bring the rose to your nose to smell it).

Blooms: She says the blooms are approximately 3 inches wide. She believes it may repeat bloom, but she is unsure.

Height: Height of the shrub is approximately 4-5 ft

Details on the lighter pink:

Fragrance: She says that the light pink has a moderate old rose smell.

Blooms: She says the blooms are approximately 2-3 inches wide.

Height: Height of the shrub is approximately 6-7 feet.

Many thanks in advance!
