After mowing the lawn yesterday, I ventured into the abyss and came out with half a bucket of blushing tomato. I've been picking a few this week and we're now eating home grown and it tastes soooo good.
I also got 4 pounds of pickling cukes. Time to do a batch of bread and butter. And I've found a new dill recipe that the fellas on the barbecue forum rave about.
Here's our current inventory of tomato , this will grow leaps and bounds, soon. I'm surprised by the number of very small tomato that are ripening. I usually don't get those till the very end of the plants. And I've not gotten a giant, so far. But I've seen some out there that have potential.
