Ive been at this for a while!

Its a small seating area. about 8x9’. I have an old pale yellow couch, warm white walls, light laminate wood floors, and have been using accents of matte black metal, green green, orange and dark brown wood. Nearby I have dark gray curtains, which coordinate with a dark gray wall across the room.

Theres a lot going on. I dont want a white carpet to clash with the wall if they arent the same hue, dont want a dark gray to clash with the curtains, nor to have a beige rug get lost against the floor. A dark rug might feel too heavy, particularly with a dark coffee table. These are all the thoughts that have me spinning. I almost settled on a medium gray pattern with light and dark bits in it, but chickened out.

i also love the look of the off-white or light gray rugs that are on trend right now that have a large (almost chunky?) weave.

ugh.. any ideas? :)
